In 2007 MHCA and Amity Township completed the installation of several types of environmental signs at the Hill.  Visit the park and check out the species identification book, botanical markers for tree species and these 4 intereptive signs:  “Impacts to Forests” ,  “What Do Forests Do for Us” ,  “Layers of Forest Life” and history buffs will want to check out the “History of Monocacy Hill”  located at the old quarry building along Lower Trail.

LEARN WHILE YOU WALK . We now offer several self guided activities – SCAVENGER HUNT,  TREE IDENTIFICATION, BIRDWALK sheets are available at the park entrance for kids and adults.
